Madrid ‘Las Vegas’ Casino

Plans are underway to create a Las Vegas style casino in Madrid, the capital City of Spain. Those involved in the project have committed themselves to working together to create the casino, making 200,000 jobs available in the process.

Ever since Las Vegas Sands chief Sheldon Adelson said that he wanted to create a ‘Mini-Las Vegas’ in Spain there has been speculation amongst those at Mansion Casino about when the project might get underway.

The key factor, as ever, is raising the money needed to fund the project, something which regional government president Esperanza Aguirre is keen to work with the Madrid major on.

Speaking after a meeting about the casino, Aguirre said: “We are going to change the regulations that need to be changed as long as it is line with our principles.”

“The city, regional and central government and ministries concerned must worth together to push the investment.”

As mentioned, the project – which could be worth £18.8 billion euros – could create 200,000 long-term jobs amongst Online Roulette and other areas and even more once the casino is opened. It would be, without doubt, a significant part of life in Madrid should everything from get the go ahead.

It would be the biggest casino in Europe should it go ahead too. In fact, it would be the European equivalent of the world famous Las Vegas Casinos. The proposal for the Madrid casino includes:

  • 12 resorts with 36,000 rooms in total
  • six casinos with 1,065 tables
  • 18,000 slot machines
  • nine theatres
  • three golf courses
  • 15,000-seat stage
